1.0 Safety & Compliance

ELECTRICAL HAZARD: Always disconnect power before installation or maintenance. This device must be installed by qualified personnel in accordance with local and national electrical codes.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and CE directives for electromagnetic compatibility. Operation is subject to the condition that this device does not cause harmful interference.

2.0 Product Overview

The BG-700 AIoT Gateway is a rugged, high-performance device designed to bridge industrial sensors and machinery with the Burooq cloud platform. It utilizes our proprietary CoSS (Custom Secure Communication) protocol for end-to-end encrypted data transmission.

3.0 Installation Guide

3.1 Physical Mounting

  1. Select a mounting location with adequate ventilation and minimal exposure to direct vibration.
  2. Use the four provided mounting screws to affix the gateway to a DIN rail or a flat surface.
  3. Connect the appropriate antenna(s) for Wi-Fi or Cellular communication.

3.2 Power & Network Connection

  1. Ensure the power source is off. Connect the 12-36V DC power supply to the gateway's terminal block.
  2. For a wired network, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port.
  3. Power on the device. The 'PWR' LED should turn solid green. The 'NET' LED will blink while establishing a connection.
Note: For initial configuration, connect a PC to the gateway's service Ethernet port and navigate to 192.168.1.1 in a web browser.

4.0 Troubleshooting

'PWR' LED is off No power from source or faulty connection. Verify power supply is active. Check all wiring and terminal connections.
'NET' LED is solid red Cannot connect to the Burooq cloud. Check Ethernet cable. Verify firewall rules are not blocking outbound traffic on port 443. Check cellular signal strength if applicable.
Sensor data not appearing Incorrect Modbus/RS-485 configuration or faulty sensor wiring. Log in to the gateway's web interface and verify sensor configuration. Check physical wiring for breaks or incorrect polarity.
